Opening Microsoft’s .docx (Word 2007), .xlsx (Excel 2007) and .pptx (Powerpoint 2007) documents without the program

The frequency of Word 2007 documents with the extension of .docx are increasing in my inbox.  My company hasn’t made the migration to Office 2007, but fortunately Microsoft has been nice enough to provide a compatibility pack here or if you want the long url, it’s here to cut and paste in your browser:

I post this not only to given everyone the link to the place to get it, but also there’s other potential resources that don’t seem to work as well as this.  So, I wanted to help people avoid the other packs, updates, etc. that seem to fail in contrast to this working.  Good luck!
