OK, I’m definitely not one for “jumping on the bandwagon.”

I posted back in July of 2008 about Girl’s Generation (aka So Nyeo Shi Dae or in Hangul, 소녀시대).  It was nothing special, but for some reason the song was a bit catchy to my ears at the time, but…WOWser…what’s up with these outfits?  Makes me think “All starbowlines ahoy!!!”

Girls Generation Jan 2009

Made up of 9 girls (as of January 2009), Girls’ Generation aka “So Nyeo Shi Dae” (also in China recognized as Shaonü Shidai) includes Yoona (윤아, 林允儿), Tiffany (티파니, 黄美英, 蒂芙尼), Yuri (유리, 权侑莉), Hyoyeon (효연, 金孝渊), Sooyoung (수영, 崔秀英), Seohyun (서현, 徐贤), Taeyeon (태연,金泰妍), Jessica (제시카, 郑秀妍, 杰西卡) and Sunny (써니, 李顺圭, 桑尼).  All the Girls’ Generation members are between 17 and 19 years of age. The Korean pop girl group is managed by SM Entertainment.  SM once managed H.O.T., S.E.S., and Shinhwa, but still manages BoA, Super Junior and x-H.O.T. member Kangta.

Korean Female Rappers = oxymoron? Maybe not…

Get ready for an onslaught of Korean Music Videos

I was in a Korean Music Videos mood today.  So, I surfed through a bunch via YouTube.com and threw a bunch of them them in here.  I know some of them are a little cheesy, but I’m o.k. with that since they’re for my ears.  If you enjoy as well, that’s fine, but these help me remember what I didn’t mind hearing/seeing earlier in terms of recent the Korean music front.
