Micheal Jackson Dies?

UPDATE: Looks like multiple sources are now saying the King of Pop is dead.  CNN reports “Pop icon Michael Jackson has died in Los Angeles, according to multiple reports” and the New York Times says “Michael Jackson, 50, Is Dead.”

Thanks to my best friend’s sister Shirley, I just saw her status saying that TMZ.com reported Micheal Jackson died.  I looked on ABCNews.com and it says he’s suffered from a cardiac arrest, but hasn’t confirmed he has passed.  CNN reports the same and so doese the NYTimes.com.  Micheal Jackson (actually spelled “Michael” Jackson, but mispelled here just fyi) passing would really rock the music industry despite his lack of success in recent years.   I think he was trying to do a tour or something to make up for all his losses and lack of funds, but of course, he’s not the same as he was at his height.

CNN though has confirmed or reported that Farah Fawcett (rather Farrah Fawcett) of Charlie’s Angels fame has died.  She was 12 years older than Jackson.  She died of anal cancer. She was also known for literally having the blond hair do that every woman wanted at the time (which I believe was in the 1970’s).  She was THE sex symbol at the time.  She probably helped continue if not start a new wave of people LOVING blonds in the United States.

Two HUGE icons passing really makes this an interesting & sad day for the entertainment industry.  Not sure what to think of these two passing…(if it’s true that Michael Jackson died…)

What does it take to have someone spray another human being with a canister of full of fire retardant?  Answer: an FTA agreement.

It’s really sad, but this is not the only thing that will get the Korean legislature into a frenzy and into physical fights over issues that affect the country.  On one hand, it exhibits the passion that these lawmakers have over the issues that the country must take on.  On the flip side, it shows how ridiculously stupid our country’s people are when it comes to debating and supporting or voting against laws and policies governing the country.

I don’t know if this is wrong or just one of the things we should expect more of in the future?

The Pregnant Man Gives Birth

Thomas Beatie, also known as The Pregnant Man, has given birth to a girl, he confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Beatie, 34, who began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, while preserving his female reproductive organs, and his wife Nancy, 46, welcomed a daughter at an Oregon hospital on June 29. Both Beatie and his daughter are healthy and doing well, he tells PEOPLE.

My curiosity got the best of me…

**Warning: some of the pictures in the following may disturb you.  Some of them made me want to throw up when I first saw them and I got the urge again when trying to upload them into this post.

Reading the news sometimes leads you to places you would never have even imagined before starting.  Today, I noticed a story about an old Austrian man who locked up his daughter for 20+ years in his basement along with half the 6 children he had with her.  I read the most detailed version of the story in the German periodical, Spiegel Online.  After finishing the story, I checked out the front page of the English version of the publication and noticed a picture below with the caption of “Beijing’s Penis Restaurant.”  I’m sorry, but I had to look and I sort of regret looking, but at the same time was so dumfounded that I had to post it here.
